Overview

Through LA-based directors organizations and film schools, Samsung contracted 6 script writers & directors with crafting stories based on pre-determined personas & situations based in 2030.

We then flew them & our team to an off-site facility where we, with the help of storyboard artists, crafted their unique stories into 2030 product & experience opportunities.

Sci-fi Writer Workshop Packet

Prior to the workshop, each of the 6 sci-fi writers were given a homework assignment in preparation for the event: Persona with backstory, a day-in-the-life scenario, a year in which the scenario takes place & pain points + opportunities in their life to consider.

At a remote offsite in SF, 17 people - who had not worked together prior - spent two full days turning stories from acclaimed writers, directors, novelists & professors into novel future scenarios.
