Lead UX Designer and Strategist for the 2024 Samsung Galaxy Ring
I am fortunate to have collaborated with the great minds at NASA to develop the latest microgravity plant growing system to go to the International Space Station.
The PONDS project earned the team & I Fast Company’s 30 Most Important Design Companies of 2019.
EXPERIENCE GAINED
Hydrodynamics in Micro-Gravity, Interorbital Collaboration, Developing a product that meets rigorous “shipping” constraints, Desigining without full validation (since space travel was outside the project budget)

The MicroPro Grill addresses this rise of Urbanization by allowing consumers to bring the benefits of a grill indoors. With global microwave penetration at +95%, the smart appliances team saw an opportunity to re-purpose a common household appliance by creating a product that introduces familiar cooking methods into an unfamiliar location.
EXPERIENCE GAINED:
Metal stamping + overmolded silicone
Creating function through simplicity
Crafting front-end R&D data into a product solutions
Bridging the divide between TV & Home, the Q80R is our vision of a display that can be both a bold statement and unobtrusive accent that reflects the home’s values.
Home Interior & Furniture Show Research in New York, California & Miami yielded a compelling CMF composition of subtle brass tones & blue-blacked brushed stainless steel complementary to near term interior trends and reflective of timeless interior elements.
ACHIEVEMENT
This project marked my studio’s first production TV after several attempts to push something to market. The aesthetics & story earned the design a place on Samsung’s most sold TV model in the US.
In addition to the PONDS payload, a mission patch was designed and sent to the International Space Station. It’s development was a process as intricate & rewarding as the PONDS design itself.
Unlike PONDS, mission patches have a long history dating back to the Gemini missions when NASA opted for allowing astronauts to design patches over naming spacecrafts after Gus Grissom jokingly naming a sunken capsule’s successor as The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
With patches, there is symbolism in each graphical element and hidden messages scattered throughout, but ultimately it’s the accomplishments they represent that give them meaning.
The project goal was to work in collaboration with the Swedish-based Design team to develop a high-powered cordless cleaner that utilized Electrolux patented Brushroll Cleaning Technology.
EXPERIENCE GAINED:
Storytelling through Styling
International Design Collaboration
Battery-based Products
Class-A Surfacing in Autodesk
